Does Your Loved One Need 24-Hour Supervision?
If you’re loved one has experience a fall that has led them to receive medical attention, you may consider providing them with 24 hour supervision. Perhaps your loved one is suffering from Alzheimer’s and has a hard time remembering things or is frequently disoriented, it may be safer for them if they have someone who can watch over them to make sure that they don’t do something to harm themselves such as wandering out into the street or going for a walk and forgetting where home is.
If you love one experiences a broken leg or a broken hip, you will definatly want to make sure that they have around the clock care. Once the injury is healed, they may be able to go back to caring for themselves. An injury such as this can make it hard for them to not only get around but to also shower, go to the bathroom or prepare their meals.
Perhaps your loved one is on medications that leave them confused or even groggy. You may want to consider providing them with 24 hour supervision for their well being. They could easily take more medicine than they should if they don’t remember taking it the first time.
