Perhaps your loved one is suffering from Alzheimer’s and has a hard time remembering things or is frequently disoriented, it may be safer for them if they have someone who can watch over them to make sure that they don’t do something to harm themselves such as wandering out into the street or going for a walk and forgetting where home is.
